He should’ve realized that a simple task with a spectacular reward was probably too good to be true…

After surviving the monster horde attack on Teglir, Thaden is thankful to have persevered through such a harrowing experience.  However, before he can implement any of his plans for the future, he is invited to meet with the local Baron, which he believes is a result of his efforts during the city’s defense of the monster horde.

Instead of a monetary or otherwise tangible reward for his role in Teglir’s defense, Thaden is offered an opportunity that he is hesitant to pass up; in short, he has the chance to obtain a Noble Title, which will help give him legitimacy and could potentially progress his future plans to a degree he could never imagine.  In order to gain this Title, he is tasked to clear a number of special nearby dungeons that only he can access, which seems like a job well-suited to his capabilities.

Unfortunately, this relatively simple task is complicated by the appearance of a number of organizations that are looking for a particular Healer, and their intentions upon finding him aren’t necessarily altruistic.  Now, Thaden has to dodge his pursuers while attempting to clear these special dungeons, which are a challenge in and of themselves.

If that isn’t enough, behind all of these obstacles is a threat that even the Assimilation System is wary of…

This book is part of next story arc of the Earthen Contenders series, but it can still be enjoyed without having read the previous series.  This story contains an overpowered MC with a normally non-offense-based Class, LitRPG progression mechanics and stats, and isekai/portal fantasy elements.  Contains no sexual content or harems.

Just to say, I love your books! I picked up "Unexpected Healer" on a whim, and was hooked! Waiting for the next in the Enthralled Healer series next year. Loved the Affinity Collector series, plus I think that the Magical Fusion series is my favourite LitRPG of all time. Brilliant stories, and long may they continue!
    Cheers
    Craig.
