The Fusionist is now on Royal Road
As this was my 50th book, I decided to change it up a little and write a full LitRPG book instead of a Dungeon Core story -- and I came up with The Fusionist! I had such a blast writing it that I'm excited for it to continue, which is why I posted it on Royal Road rather than publish it on amazon, and I'll continually be adding to it every day.

A young man and his axe… along with a whole bunch of magic he doesn’t want
Larek Holsten is different from most people, but as long as
it helps him become the best Logger he can be, he doesn’t really care all that
much. He and his best friend, an axe
with a powerful fusion on it causing it to become sharper and stronger than a
normal tool, are feared by the trees in the magical forest north of his home, as
he can fell them faster than anyone else in the community.
Unfortunately, his abnormal physical appearance has a bit
more of an influence over the population of the Kingdom than he figured, which
ends up causing some problems when he visits the nearby village of
Rushwood. After a deliberate
misunderstanding lands him in trouble, Larek is taken away from his family and
the only home he’s ever known. Along the
way, a magical “potential” inside of him is discovered by those more
knowledgeable than him in the ways of magic, and he is ordered to attend some
sort of school for Mages.
The problem? Contrary
to many who would jump at the chance of wielding powerful magic to fight
monsters, Larek has absolutely no desire to become a Mage. All he wants is to go back home and chop down
more trees with his best friend.
Contains LitRPG elements such as character progression
and statistics. No explicit sexual
content or harems.
